I was introduced to CrossFit Enduro in 2014, and the community and training programme here have added value to my life in so many ways. Prior to 2014, I had sustained several injuries over the years as a national bowler and thought that it would be difficult for me to get active again.
CrossFit’s emphasis on general fitness and natural movements enabled me to get stronger and move better than ever. The movements can be modified to suit anyone – it allowed me to be active throughout my pregnancy, and to recover quickly postpartum. I have also learnt so much about nutrition, how to fuel myself properly for the longevity of my body. I have also made lifelong friends at Enduro – the friendly and supportive community we have is second to none.
I am now devoting my time and energy to helping others improve their quality of life with CrossFit, as it has done for me. I was previously a Chemistry teacher for 10 years, but now I am a gym owner, trainer and nutrition coach. I still love breaking down complex skills and concepts down, to make them easier to learn and understand. I am grateful that I get to journey alongside people in their health and fitness journeys, and want to help as many people as I can experience the benefits that CrossFit has brought me!
