A lot of you have asked me recently about following a Paleo lifestyle.
The long and the short of it as follows:-
Reverting to a diet that cuts out processed food and grains leads to optimal health and wellness. Not only that, your physical recovery after CrossFit workouts (as well as other Sport, of course) improves tremendously. You’ll also find your mind is incredibly clear – none of that 4pm brain fog when you eat clean…
So what to avoid:-
High Fructose Corn Syrup (read the food labels);
Dairy;
Sugar in all forms;
Grains.
…and what to eat:-
Eat MEAT (organic or free-range),
plenty VEGETABLES,
NUTS and SEEDS (strict portion control yah),
some FRUIT (low GI),
little STARCH (think more sweet potatoes than potatoes)
and no SUGAR (for real, NO SUGAR)!
